Healthy french toast / Pain Perdu



French toast, has always been the  breakfast/ snack that I prepare whenever I buy toasts, it's always a good meal to enjoy along with fresh fruits, a drizzle of honey and some nuts, for a complete breakfast you should eat a yogurt or a cup of milk with these 2 toasts, you can also substitute it with a gluten free bread if you are on a gluten free diet, or substitute the normal milk with a plant based milk. 


The steps are very easy, you just whisk one egg, milk and put the toast in the mixture. 



Ingredients: 

• 2 toast (multicereal/whole wheat/ gluten free)
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp of butter or coconut oil 


Instructions: 

1. Whisk the egg with milk and vanilla extract
2. Put the toasts in the mixture until they absorb all the liquid
3. Heat a non stick pan and but the oil/butter, cook for 3 minutes on the first side and 3 minutes on the second side
4. Top it with fresh fruits and honey.



Ingrédients: • 2 Pain demie (multicéréales / blé entier / sans gluten) • 1 oeuf • 1/3 tasse (80 ml) de lait • 1 c. à thé d'extrait de vanille • 1/2 cuillère à café de beurre ou d'huile de coco
Instructions:
1. Fouetter l'œuf avec le lait et l'extrait de vanille 2. Mettez les toasts dans le mélange jusqu'à ce qu'ils absorbent tout le liquide 3. Faites chauffer une poêle et à l'huile / beurre, faites cuire 3 minutes sur le premier côté et 3 minutes le deuxième côté 4. Décorer-le de fruits frais et de miel.
