Prune tart


I had my best friend coming to my house and she haven’t come since a long time ago

She was trying to eat healthy and stay fit but I had to make her a desert, so I kept thinking of what I could do on a busy day, then I thought a tart would be the ultimate choice.

The base of course would be oats and dates and the filling would be a crème anglaise.



Ingredients:

  • 1+ ½  cup of oats
  • ½ of date puree
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 prunes
  • A sachet of vanilla crème anglaise
  • 400 of milk
  • 2 tbs of honey


Instuctions:

  1. Ground the oats a bit for 30 seconds in a food processor than add the dates puree and lay it in a 20 cm (8inch) mold layered with parchment paper and put it the fridge 
  2. But the rest of the ingredients in a pan on high heat and stir for 10 minutes or until thickened 
  3. Scoop the mixture in the mold and refrigerate for 2 hours
  4. Cute 3 prunes and put them on top

Note : you can add almonds and flax seeds to the base mixture to give it more texture
